Kinship

3. Kinship: Fostering Social Equality, Blinders Care, and Collective Responsibility

At KLKI, we believe in the power of kinship—the bond that pulls people together to assist one another in times of need. Kinship is more than just connections; it is about working together to achieve social equality, compassion, and shared responsibility. Our objective is to create a society in which all people, regardless of background, have the opportunity to live healthy and dignified lives.

In keeping with our commitment to social equality, we emphasize providing eye care to low-income persons who typically do not have access to appropriate medical care. KLKI works tirelessly to provide comprehensive eye health services to individuals in need, including free eye exams, eye replacements, and the distribution of spectacles to those who cannot afford them. We also raise awareness about the importance of eye donation and urge individuals to donate their eyes for a worthwhile cause, restoring the sight of others.

We provide free cataract surgery to anyone who cannot afford the treatment. By addressing these key health needs, we can help people overcome the limitations of vision impairment and live more independent and fulfilling lives. In addition to medical care, we focus on helping people to be self-sufficient. Through skill development programs, we provide them with the tools they need to regain their independence and contribute meaningfully to society.

At KLKI, we believe that mutual help is critical to improve lives and communities. Through our kinship programs, we strive to bridge the gap between those who have and those who need it, resulting in a society that prioritizes everyone’s well-being.
